As of Feb 2004, there is a Weekly Summary available for your account. The weekly summary is separate from your daily Alertz, and you can subscribe to one, or the other, or both. The way the weekly Alertz works is simple. We keep track of the last time we sent you a weekly e-mail. Our engine will only send weekly emails to accounts that have not received an e-mail in the last 7 days. So if the technology you're subscribed to isn't updated for 9 days, you'll receive an Alertz message on the 9th day, and then it will be at least 7 more days from that point, that you'll get another weekly Alertz message.
This explains why you may not get an Alertz message on the same day every week. Chances are, if you're subscribed to a number of popular technologies, then your Alertz will arrive on the same day each week. If your only subscribed to one or two less popular technologies, then your email may not be on the same day each week.
