How do I use saved searches?

When you perform a Microsoft Article Search (from the left menu of kbAlertz.com) and you are logged in, your search is saved, and can be used again, by simply clicking the search text.

We currently save your last 5 searches, that were successful in finding results. If a search doesn't have any results, it is not saved. The idea here, is that it doesn't seem to make sense to save a search, that didn't bring back any results.

Just to reiterate, you must be logged in for this feature to work. If you can't log in, becuase you don't know your password, please use this Send My Password feature.

We would like to thank the fine folks with the following organizations for helping us deliver the kbAlertz.com service. This service is very expensive to run, and has an extremely high traffic volume. This creates technical support issues, bandwidth issues, and presentation issues. The following three companies help make kbAlertz.com possible.
  • myKB.com - Makers of this amazing Knowledge Base application you're looking at. They have a free version available at myKB.com.
  • DiscountASP - The worlds best hosting company. Especially for ASP.NET programmers.
  • ASP.NET Email - We send hundreds of thousands of e-mails a week, and we couldn't do it without this component.
  • Dot Net Charting - All the nice color graphs around the site, couldn't be there without them.

Find a mistake? Let us know about it. Use our new feedback option, to send us an e-mail.

Thanks for using kbAlertz.com
Scott Cate
